Questions We Get Asked
What is included in a package?
Inclusions and exclusions are both listed against every package, because what is left out matters as much as what is in. Transfers, meals and entry fees are stated individually rather than summarised. Anything optional is priced separately. Ask us about anything that is not clear before you book.
Can you customise an itinerary?
Yes — most of our work is adjusting a package to suit the group. Tell us the pace you want, what you would rather skip and what you cannot miss. Families, couples and groups all want different things from the same destination. A custom itinerary is quoted the same way as a package, with inclusions listed.
When is the best time to visit?
Season affects both the experience and the price, and we will tell you honestly when a destination is at its worst. Off-season travel can be excellent value if you know what to expect. Weather is not something anybody can promise. We will give you the realistic picture rather than the brochure one.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are stated at booking and vary with how close to departure you are. Third-party bookings such as flights and hotels carry their own terms, and we will identify those separately. Travel insurance is worth considering and we will say so. Nothing is buried in small print.
Do you handle group travel?
Yes, and groups need planning rather than booking. Room configurations, pace and dietary requirements all get harder with numbers. Tell us the size and the make-up of the group early. We will build the itinerary around what the group can realistically manage.
How much do I need to pay to confirm a booking?
The advance and the payment schedule are stated before you book, along with what each stage secures. Flights and hotels frequently have to be paid earlier than the rest because of their own terms. Nothing is collected without you knowing what it is for.
